The school itself is a modern building.&nbsp; A large extension was added in 2001.This extension almost doubled the floor area of the school. There are 31 classrooms in total and these comprise of a mix of general classrooms and specialist rooms, laboratories and workshops.These rooms include<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><b>Full sized Physical Education Hall<a href=\"http:\/\/coachfordcollege.ie\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/07\/DSC_0033_1.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-thumbnail wp-image-16 alignright\" src=\"http:\/\/coachfordcollege.ie\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/07\/DSC_0033_1-150x150.jpg\" alt=\"DSC_0033_1\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\"><\/a><\/b><b><\/b><\/li>\n<li><b>Library<\/b><b><\/b><\/li>\n<li><b>Oratory<\/b><b><\/b><\/li>\n<li><b>3 Science Laboratories<\/b><b><\/b><\/li>\n<li><b>3 Workshops<\/b><b><\/b><\/li>\n<li><b>2 Home Economics Rooms<\/b><b><\/b><\/li>\n<li><b>4 Fully Equipped Computer Laboratories<\/b><b><\/b><\/li>\n<li><b>Music\/Drama Room<\/b><b><\/b><\/li>\n<li><b>Technical Drawing Room<\/b><b><\/b><\/li>\n<li><b>17 general classrooms (including tiered demonstration room)<\/b><b><\/b><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>There are two canteen areas, a conservatory area as well as several other general social areas. A full hot service bistro serves hot healthy food daily.<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>The grounds still contain many of the features of the original Georgian house and estate that were situated there from the middle of the nineteenth century.&nbsp; These features include<\/b><b><\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><b>A large walled garden that is used by Senior Cycle Agricultural Science students.<\/b><b><\/b><\/li>\n<li><b>The courtyard of the original building.&nbsp; The courtyard was completely refurbished in 2000.<\/b><b><\/b><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>There are three separate hard court playing areas on the grounds.&nbsp; A new football\/hurling\/camogie pitch was recently added.
