Coachford College offers a comprehensive book scheme for all years at the school. In this tough economic climate, never has it been more important to have a book scheme in place to keep the financial burden on families to a minimum. Parents are asked to contribute a small fee each year (up to a family limit) in return for the provision of all textbooks for their children (excluding workbooks, exam papers and other peripheral materials). The books are kept by the student until they sit their state examination and are returned to the school for redistribution.
The current cost of the scheme is €65 per student per year, with a 50% reduction for 3rd and subsequent children in a family. TY students don’t partake in the book scheme.
